Jeremy Seewer to Miss MXGP of the Netherlands in Arnhem

Jeremy Seewer will not be lining up this weekend at the MXGP of the Netherlands in Arnhem. The Swiss rider from the Van Venrooy KTM Racing Team is still suffering too much from the effects of his heavy crash during the Grand Prix of Sweden.

Seewer suffered a heavy crash last weekend in Uddevalla during the first race. While riding in around eleventh position, he landed on a rock after a jump and hit the ground hard. He attempted to take part in the second race on Sunday, but had to retire after just one lap due to pain in his back and shoulder.

On Thursday, Seewer got back on the bike to assess whether participation in the Dutch Grand Prix would be possible. However, it became clear that he is still experiencing too much discomfort as a result of the crash.
