Max Werner scores twelfth place in EMX250 France

Max Werner of the JM Honda Racing Team has finished twelfth in the fourth round of the EMX250 Championship in St. Jean d'Angely, France. Werner took this position in the second moto. In the first moto he crashed at the start and just didn't score.

Werner started the weekend with confidence and felt good on the track during practice. He qualified twelfth and started preparing for the first moto with a lot of motivation.

At the start of the first moto he got away well but because he crashed in the first corner, he had to get back to the front from last place. Giving it his all, he managed to pass one rider after the other but with a twenty-first place he finished just outside the points.

Eager for revenge, he started in the second moto. He was in a good position at the start and came out of the first lap in sixth place. He managed to maintain this in the first ten to fifteen minutes until he suddenly started to change his lines. Because of these changes, he lost his rhythm and started to give up places. Werner kept fighting until the flag and finished in twelfth place.

After the race in France, Werner occupies the fourteenth place in the standings and is motivated to improve on this in the coming races.

Hakon Osterhagen and Delvintor Alfarizi struggled in the MX2 class in France. Osterhagen couldn't get the right feeling on the track. He also had wheelspin at the start of the first moto but got a better start in the second moto. Unfortunately, he couldn't get into his rhythm and didn't score more than one point.

Alfarizi is making progress and his speed is improving. He will have to work on his starts and the first few laps in the coming races to be able to sit even further forward. Alfarizi managed to finish twenty-sixth in both motos and is looking forward to the next races!

In the weekend of 1 and 2 June, the championship continues in Teutschenthal, Germany.
