Jago Geerts to race the Dutch Mid Season Race in Heerde

The field for the Dutch Mid Season Race in Heerde keeps getting stronger. After confirmations from Jeffrey Herlings and Glenn Coldenhoff, Jago Geerts has also announced his participation in the event. The race in Heerde will take place on Sunday, July 6th, and serves as a perfect opportunity for MXGP riders to stay in race rhythm ahead of the MXGP of Finland.

Geerts, who took 24 Grand Prix wins in the MX2 class, had a challenging start to the MXGP season but seems to be regaining his form. During the most recent Grand Prix in Latvia, he delivered a very strong performance, finishing fourth in the second moto, which provides a solid foundation to build on for the rest of the season. We can also recall his impressive ride at the Dutch Masters in Oldebroek, where he battled with Romain Febvre and secured second place.

With a strong Geerts on the starting line, the 500 class promises to be especially exciting. But the 250 class will also feature top-level riders, including Cas Valk and Gyan Doensen. Another big name set to race in Heerde will be announced early next week!

In addition to the 250cc and 500cc classes, the 85cc and 125cc classes will also be racing for points in the Dutch Championship!
